I used a mini display to HDMI cable to connect the Surface 3 to my HP EliteDisplay S240ml monitor. In dual-display the resolution is not high enough to display as much info in Chrome as I would like. I haven't been able to get Extend Display to work properly either, so for right now it seems the only way I can get the display to work as I like is to only have the EliteDisplay on. [Disclosure]
