Can I use Google Photos to host images for my blogs?

It doesn't look like it is possible directly froom Google Drive, but I have found a third party site that converts the publicly shared link that Google Drive produces into a direct link that one can use with an IMG tag.

The problem with this approach is that it adds dependency on a third party site and if that site goes away then the access to the images goes away. Frankly, I think Google ought to provide direct links to images that can be used in websites.

I used a mini display to HDMI cable to connect the Surface 3 to my HP EliteDisplay S240ml monitor. In dual-display the resolution is not high enough to display as much info in Chrome as I would like. I haven't been able to get Extend Display to work properly either, so for right now it seems the only way I can get the display to work as I like is to only have the EliteDisplay on. [Disclosure]
