After changing to "-6" the post was another hour behind EST. I then changed it to "-4". After making this change the post time was correct.

The previous post was one hour behind the time that I expected. I changed siteTimeZone from "-5" to "-6" and created this post.

Here I am doing a quick test of the siteTimeZone directive to confirm it is working as expected.
